This footage was taken at an evening conversation with national activist, theologian, author, and musician Rev. Osagyefo Sekou at the 18th Avenue Peace House in Portland, Oregon. In this 30 minute clip from a 2 hour event, Sekou addresses "The Task of the Artist in the Time of Monsters" and what it means to him to stand up for justice in 21st century America.

"Peace Train" is hosted by the Metanoia Peace Community. This ongoing series welcomes different community leaders to reflect on the nature of peace. Join us on the last Friday of every month at Portland’s “Peace House."
